A NEW MISSION! We are thrilled to open up China in 2005. Soon, we meet new friends and work with them there. Environment: Yunnan Province is in the Southern, tropic part of China, but is high enough in the mountains to be pleasant. Where we work outside the city of Kunming is very beautiful, and very, very remote -- it requires 4WD vehicles to get there! The Work: We will begin by helping where there is a need. In bringing water to a local community, or building a school, we are helping that community improve its health and education. Think about it -- if children don't have to travel to a stream every day to tote water, they can be in a classroom learning. Their water will also be fresher, and more sanitary. Yunnan Province, China: We have established a relationship with a local worker who specializes in community projects. Every summer, we hope to run a project, which has benefits beyond the project itself. We will work side-by-side with the community we are serving.

GETTING CONNECTED... There are so many ways that you can help with this mission project. Here are a few examples: Pray for our full-time workers in China. Pray for our involvement with local area communities. Pray that God would raise-up, helpers and translators. Go on a trip to China! China is a very exciting country with a very old and rich culture. Help raise funds for our annual trips. We hope to send teams most years to work on projects, learn about the culture, and make friends.
