What is a Real Life of Worship?

1. Real worship means really receiving God's grace in your life

   For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast.
   Ephesians 2:8-9

2. Real worship means being open to the Lord transforming you (not the other way around)

   And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
   2 Corinthians 3:18

3. Real worship is my response to God's love

   Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-- this is your spiritual act of worship.
   Romans 12:1

4. Giving the Lord my attention, affection, and abilities

   Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
   Mark 12:30, Deuteronomy 6:5
