Four things Faith Does:

Faith creates Trust (Psalm 91:2)

• Trust can be hard
• We believe beyond reason (Gen. 17:1)

Faith goes beyond Sight

• It gives assurance of things hoped for (Heb 11:1)
• We can’t see what God has in store for us (1 Cor. 2:9)

Faith receives God’s promises

• God counts us righteous by faith (Gen. 15:6)
• We believe in Jesus (Rom. 4:23-24)

Faith is demonstrated by action

• Actions make faith tangible (Heb. 11:8, 17)
• A life of faith serves others
• A life of faith is rewarding
