Remember the song lyric, “It’s the end of the world as we know it… and I feel fine” (REM, 1987)? It might feel like the end of the world. But, realistically, do most people feel fine? Speculation about the End of the World has existed in every generation. There are signs that we are told will precede the end, and many of them have been happening, almost continuously, for a long, long time. But living in a pandemic can heighten our curiosity about the end, the signs, and what the Bible says. During January and February of 2022 we’ll be exploring what the Bible teaches about the End of Time, the Last Day, the return of Jesus, and signs that accompany these events. We will discuss various interpretations of the millennium, and what our church body believes about the time we are living in. You’re encouraged to attend, bring your questions, and let’s dive into what scripture really says about the End of the World.
Class will follow worship at about 10:30 am, in-person in the CLC, or on the same stream as the worship service. People on the stream are able to participate, ask questions, and even contribute to the reading and discussion.
