Mount Olive is committed to streaming for the foreseeable future. For that reason, we are investing in a system to make our video stream better. The cost to modernize and update all of the hardware will cost approximately $10,000. The new system will include remote control cameras, a video switcher, and devices and computers to bring the video and sound from the sanctuary to the world.
On May 31, Mel and Carol proposed a fundraising effort through the month of June with the goal of raising $15,000 to enable the purchase and installation of the system and any additional related expenses. They kicked off the effort with a pledge of $1,000. This will enable our worship services (and other events in the sanctuary) to be viewable from anywhere via the live stream.
