Lent is a season of repentance and reflection on the meaning of the Death of Jesus. His Resurrection, which we celebrate on Easter, is glorious in light of the depth of its meaning. Jesus died for us, because of our sins. We have been brought from death to life through faith in the Savior. This year, with eased restrictions compared to the last time we observed the season, we will gather for a reflective time of worship, repentance, and seeking God in His Word. Our messages will focus on the message of hope for troubled souls. Our God helps us. Through these years of pandemic, we’ve all probably felt burdened, troubled, stressed, disappointed… But there is hope for our broken hearts. Using a Psalm reading each week, we will focus our hearts and minds around the encouragement and help that our God offers us.
- Ash Wednesday, March 2, 7:00 pm and continuing the remaining Wednesdays
- Holy Week will include Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services, also at 7:00 pm.
Let’s find hope together in the words of our oldest hymnal, the book of Psalms.
Note: we will also livestream these worship services.
