We often focus on the grace of God. That’s for good reason! God’s grace is what saves us (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is his gift to us that is undeserved, only because of his abundant, amazing love. His grace is what covers our sins and gives to us the forgiveness that we can neither earn nor find anywhere else. For there is only one name under heaven through which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Beginning with Reformation Sunday (2022), our message series on Sundays will be all about the grace of God. God’s grace is what we need.
Having lived in areas affected by drought for much of the past fifteen years, Pastor John has seen the need for rain. The ground is dry. The earth needs to be cleaned. Crops have failed where there isn’t irrigation. Grace falls on us like rain – from heaven, to meet our needs, to make us clean and bring life to us. You’re encouraged to be in worship to hear about the grace of God. More than that, you’re encouraged to receive his grace – every week, no every day.
May his abundant grace fall like rain in your life! See you Sunday.
